TODO is based on the idea that an image is worth a thousand words. Not just another to-do app, TODO uses images to make sure you remember what you have to accomplish.
I built TODO as a way to gain full stack development experience.
I built TODO as a way to gain full stack development experience.
HOW
TODO is built using the MERN stack + AWS S3.

Code is here: Github
Quick Summary: A user interacts with React front end. State is stored using Redux. A user is authenticated via Passport.js. User data is stored in either an Atlas MongoDB or an AWS S3 bucket (for images).

WHY
SwrmHub.io is an ecosystem for controlling a robot swarm. SwrmHub exists to make playing with swarms easy. At its core, SwrmHub allows a user to monitor a number of robots via wifi connection to an IoT hub.
Ease of use and security are important. Users can chose to deploy SwrmHub as a local service running on the IOT hub, or link the swarm up to the main SwrmHub.io site.
This project is my graduation project for learning the MERN stack. This project uses the MERN stack and further dives into the use of Raspberry Pi as a local IoT hub for a swarm of robots and communication between IOT devices and local hubs.

COMING SOON SwrmHub.io -
cloud swarm robotics: MERN, P5, Raspberry Pi
HOW
The general architecture of SwrmHub will be:
- A wifi-enabled robot takes supplied wifi credentials
- A Raspberry Pi creates a wireless access point with those credentials and stands up a Node server.
- The Pi can serve and run SwrmHub locally or a user can chose to connect with to SwrmHub.
- SwrmHub.io allows a user to connect their account and view information sent to the Pi.
- SwrmHub.io provides additional features such as swarm simulation, access to machine learning, and the ability to monitor multiple swarms from one dashboard.

WHY
Reduce, Reuse and then Recycle is Mason-re's mission.
The prevalence of single-use containers is an environmental disaster. Mason-re fights this waste with high quality, well-designed reusable dispensary packaging and drinking containers.
Mason-re products have prevented thousands of pounds of plastic from ending up in landfills.

HOW
I founded Mason-re in 2013 while attending law school at Univ. of Oregon.
Over 6 years, I build a robust domestic and international supply chain that produced the 7 different products I designed. As CEO I grew sales to ~$500k/yr, on only $70k of investment.
At Mason-re I did it all. I layed out production facilities, I hired staff and I managed vendor relationships.
Most importantly, I made sure each customer experience was exceptional.

WHY
I started Swim Left Products to further my passions for product development and manufacturing.
While working as a designer I saw vendors regularly miss the mark on customer service. In spec parts and price are important, but not all that maters.
As SLP morphed into a production machine shop, my team and I focused foremost on the customer experience. We did this by:

As SLP morphed into a production machine shop, my team and I focused foremost on the customer experience. We did this by:
- focusing on customer success
- always on-time for delivery
- being transparent and responsive about the production process
HOW
Started as vehicle for patent prosecution, SLP morphed into a precision machine shop. At the peak, we produced over 5000 scope mounts a month on my 5-axis mill.
This success was based on under-promising, over-delivering and always being responsive and honest with customers. A focus on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing made exceeding customer expectations as easy as holding .0004" can be.
Once I secured a PO from a customer, they would only send more business my way.
